First homebrew ever was brewed Saturday night with 2 friends, with me essentially being along for the ride. I'm in charge of getting the bottles for bottling once the yeast has done it's job. Anyone in Connecticut have a lead on where to buy in person? I'd rather go in to a place, talk with someone, and pick up the equipment needed. Need to make sure I don't drop the ball on our first attempt! Thanks!

So...you are 3 days into fermentation

So...you brewed beer and are ready to bottle shortly...Find a Homebrew Supply in CT or anywhere close and buy phase II : )

You have at least 2 weeks for you and your two friends to drink 2 cases of beer. I'll bet you are up for it

More details, assuming this was a 5 gallon batch, you need about 50 bottles, it is better to have some extra. You also need bottle caps and a capper, something like this http://www.amazon.com/Ferrari-Red-Baron-Bottle-Capper/dp/B001D6KGTK I assume someone has a bottling bucket and bottling wand and some tubing.

Where in CT are you? There is a place in East Hartford, Brew & Wine Hobby, that I would recommend:

They have everything you need to start bottling, too, not just the bottles, but caps, a capper, bottling bucket, bottling wand.
