I just moved back to DC area from Philly and am readjusting to buying 6 packs again instead of cases. Which for the most part works out great, but while in Philly I took part in a beer exchange where everyone would buy a case and we would get together and drink beers and walk away with a mixed up case. Worked out great and was a good excuse to get together with fellow beer drinkers. In Maryland all the stores I frequent(Perfect Pour, Corridor, whatever that new one in Beltsville is called) sell more by sixer. In order for this to work I need to find or two that sell by the case(at the case rate instead of just 4x the 6 pack cost) and have a good variety. Any suggestions?
Are you looking for mixed cases or whole 6pk cases?My neighborhood store fishpaws sells cases of sixpacks at case prices ( i buy oskar blues old chub by the case every 2 weeks or so) good selection there. I'm not sure about mixed cases though.
Whole foods will do case discounts but Total wine does not. However WF might be a dollar or two more expensive than TW per six pack. So it probably isn't much of a difference.
