I understand your question, but the real puzzler is where the hell did you find Curieux for $10.99 in Illinois?!

Buy cases. Snagged a case of Stone IPA today for $29.99, bottled 2/19. Can't beat that.

At Walgreens! The Bucktown/Wicker Park Walgreens to be exact. I think that might be an error on their part, because that has to be under cost. Maybe it was supposed to be $18.99 and someone screwed up? There were three bottles left on the shelf as of a few hours ago. I would have cleared them out, but, as I said above, short on funds.

Old Chub is smooth as hell and not a hint of the 8% that's in it. Cheap too ($35 a case in central PA)

Agreed, very tasty, very sessionable. But at 11 bucks a sixer for a sesssioner, is asking a bit too much mulah imo. 12 packs of All Day IPA @ Sierra Nevada prices would be so awesome, especially for the summer time.

Seriously. I mean SNPA 12 packs are right next to it in the cooler for $14.....if SN offered a beer at that price with an around 4% ABV I'd be sold.

I hear ya man, I like All Day an all, but its not a beer meant for six packs at the price its currently going for. This beer begs 12 pack packaging paired with warm weather/BBQ/beach ect.

So much like! A local brewery had a low abv (3.75%) session ale....in a 22 oz....for $6-7  Do breweries just overlook the idea that a session beer should not only be palatable but also walletable?!

edit: Your from MA, so it was Blatant Session ale.

This is true! If I am going to drink 6+ at a time, I'd better be able to afford it. I look at All Day almost like a splurge. Also why I have an easier time buying 10%+ ABV bombers than low ABV 6 packs.

Cases (4/6pk) are as low as $28 in CO, gotta love it. Old Chub, at 8%, hits you more like a 10%+, and two or three go down mighty quick.

Hmmmm, I just had a Cherry Rye, All Day IPA, and 2 x Gandhi Bots tonight ( all purchased in CT)

'gansett is my absolute go to cheap lager, but CT distro is stepping it up quite a bit lately. I try and drink as much NEBCO as possible and Hooker and Berkshire are fantastic locals. Let me know if you ever want a CT sampler pack!

SN Torpedo is my go to when funds are tight. I started drinking high gravity brews when my wife thought that I had a drinking problem if I had more than 1 beer after work...now 1 takes the edge off. If your on a tight budget often...you should brew your own high gravity beer for a fraction of the cost of store bought.

Ok, yeah Blatant session. I think Notch out of NH does some of their 'session' beers in 22's as well and very reasonably priced.

edit: Notch is out of Ipswich, MA FWIW.

Hell, brother, I buy Torpedo even when I'm flush with the moneybags. It's great beer.
