Just broke my snifter from Peekskill and should get my beers poured into proper vessels. Any tips of good places to get plain snifter glasses? I assume kitchen supply places. I've seen glasses sold at dollar stores. And I assume going to the store is cheaper than online. Looking for both 12-16 oz. and 6-8 oz. smaller ones.
If price is important, I would just hit up some thrift stores. I've scored some solid glasses that way - even some sets. In the past I've bought some stuff from Crate and Barrel or something like that. Obviously wasn't the cheapest option, but I remember it being cheaper than I expected it to be and was happy with the purchase.
I second the thrift store recommendation. You can sometimes score some pretty awesome classic glass that way. Otherwise, visit some local breweries. Many sell great glassware at respectable prices
Check some beer stores to see what they have on their shelf for sale. Also, you can go to a place like Crate and Barrel or Ikea, if you want unbranded ones
Call ahead to breweries to double check what glassware they sell so your trip isn't a "waste." I say "waste" because when is visiting a brewery ever a waste
feel your pain...for some reason i love the DFH ipa glass but the damn thing is so delicate that i literally broke it in my hands while hand washing it..if you find any mini snifters btw let me know ive been looking all over for them
