Buying yeast

    Never said it was. I did say it is cheaper though.

    Did get in a little shovelling about 4 weeks ago but it has been unsettlingly mild since. It was a beautiful 60F day here along the spine of VT's Green Mountains today; took the horse's blankets off, hung laundry on the clothesline, etc. Also racked 10 gallons of porter to keep it beer related. I'm enjoying this weather but it just aint right...

    Natural gas doesn't suffer from the issues that propane does, having a much colder boiling point. If you have the right plumbing you can brew outdoors at minus 50. My apologies if I choose not to join you:slight_smile:
