I'm a little unsure of what C&C La Folie trades for, and I'm wondering how it would compare trade value-wise to BCBS. Would it take Rare 1:1? BCBVS 1:1? Prop or Bramble 1:1? Thanks for any input, especially if you've traded one or traded for one!
Personally, I think a CC La Folie might go for a Rare... with the right person. But with many of the older "collector" brews, older traders have both in their cellar or have had them quite a few times. I have both in the basement and see no need to gather more of either... And, I am sure there are quite a few folks out there in the same circumstance.
I really don't have an answer, they seem to trade sporadically. I'm pointing out the obvious here but I assume the older C&C trade higher than the more recent vintages. I'm not sure of the years or numbers of C&C but wasn't it from '04 and the last year '09? Maybe someone who has more knowledge will chime in. I'm curious as well because I have an '08 or '07 (no I'm not just dick swinging here) but I was thinking of trying to trade for some De Garde beers and for the life of me I can't figure out what any of this shit trades for.
