Valiant's Alpha Overdrive is respectable and oddly smooth at 14.3%. Has the alcohol presence of a 7% IPA.

Citra Yum Yum was right up there with The Miser. Noble brewed more this past month, so it'll definitely be at the anni party, and hopefully on tap after that. They tapped a keg of it last Friday.
I'm just happy there are other alternatives to PtY. I'd put those two above in that echelon for sure.

Who said it's a bad thing to have other good options, right?

I can't say I love the name or the branding, but Belching Beaver's Pound Town was seriously incredible.

I would say that SFBW and the Bistro has a lot to do with it.

I know the thread said CA TIPAs, but I still feel the need to mention Notorious by Boneyard. It might be my top IPA of any level. If you're ever in the Bend or Portland area, look for it and drink some for me.

Haven't had most of those mentioned, but I think Hop-15 by Port is better than, say, Simtra. Only released 2x/yr.

Yesterday, I had Pliny the Younger and Altamont's Scarcity. PtY is solid, but I liked Scarcity better.
