Curious if anyone has made a deal involving Cable Car 2012 for Cable Car Kriek, and if so, what kind of deal should be expected. Looking to pick up a CCK.
I've been involved in three trades for this bottle in the last few months. You'll need to add something like a Framboos to your cable car.
Yeah, Cable Car Kriek is considerably more rare than any of the other CCs, especially 2012, which had the only official off-premise sales of any vintage at Toronado SF. 1. Only made once 2. A lot of the batch had to be dumped, so yield was extremely low, too 3. Wales, bro I live in SF, frequent Toronado often, know a lot of Bay Area beer people, and the only way I've had it to drink was at last year's anniversary party, and the only bottle I've seen is an empty on one the wall there. It's really, really great, but I can't imagine it's worth it unless you have a super-rare lambic burning a hole in your pocket.
