We're looking to set up a little camping trip this summer and wondering if there's any all-in-one type page or page(s) that detail upcoming beer related events in the Burlington/Waterbury/Montpelier corridor. We're planning on camping at Little River, just not sure of the dates yet and would like to plan it around a cool fest or beer event if possible. Any and all help is greatly appreciated

Best one I'm aware of is here:

Enjoy your trip! If you're a fisherman, the smallmouth in the Waterbury Res are a lot of fun, FYI.

Awesome thanks, that's exactly what I'm looking for!

2 questions: Does VT offer a short term (7 day?) out of state fishing license? And do you happen to know when The Waitsfied Farmers market releases its dates for the year?

Definitely a yes on the shirt term license, nonresident 7 day is $30. Not sure on the Farmer's Market dates, but if I recall they start around or before memorial day weekend.

Waterbury is a bit like Munchen. The Octoberfest is an awesome time to visit, but so is every other time. The Waterbury area is worth visiting even if there is nothing "going on" (and sometimes of course better). Little River is great except you have to figure out how to get back and forth.

We ended up booking the cabin at Little River for the week of 5/25. We're hoping to get some decent R&R and fishing in between our trek down to Warren on Thursday and up to Greensboro on Friday. Were going to keep Saturday 5/30 open in case something cool pops up on the calendar between now and then.

Are we just plain crazy or cunning for spending a week in a cabin in the woods during Black Fly season?
