The best beer bars in Calgary IMO: Hop N Brew (great Canadian stuff, rotating rare-ish stuff, good pizza) Bottlescrew Bills (sorta big bottle selection, mostly euro/Belgian) Craft Beer Market (big tap list, but swarming with bros and the service is terrible) - This one has/had St. Bernardus 12 on tap Model Milk (occasional rarities for Alberta) Beer Revolution Wurst (German lagers and Ales, some Belgian on tap)
so far, we hit: Model Milk - we didn't see that they had beer, but found out (too late) that La Vache Folle Milk Stout was on tap. hot dang!! Craft Beer Market - wow. what a bro bar. lots of cleavage-showing waitresses. Our bartender knew nothing about beer. she was all about the tips. We ordered St Bernadus Abt 12 and I also got a pint of Golden Carlous Classic. I'd go there again, but will shower after leaving. Hitting Bottlescrew Bills for the beer festival today.
