The one lager I've had from Almanac is their Dortmunder Export. It was so good I went back for a second 4 pack. Regretfully I have not seen it since that first encounter.

They initially didn’t have this as an option. But they said you could email them and request special can combinations. I ordered this combo. Now today they put it as a prearranged case option.
I like to think it’s because I’m an influencer, but it’s probably because everyone else had the same idea.

Wow. I just stumbled upon this. Sad to see Smoked Lager isn't available anymore. I'm thinking of a mix of Helles, Black Pilsner and the Red Ale. Am I missing something? (Porter isn't available anymore either).

They’re all seasonals that will come back at some point. They saw some distro also.

    (Your choices seem solid though)

Me too. Just finished up a can. A solid Pils, as one would expect from these two. Very crisp and refreshing on this warm SoCal afternoon.

Drinking one now and like you said it's solid.

I would go a step further and say it's great and outstanding.

In times like this when these boutique breweries are tryina charge 20 dollars for lagers and pilsners these guys consistently smash them.

I (sadly) had no idea that they're brewing Summerfest again. I need some in my life!

I doubt anyone gets too excited by Scrimshaw pilsner these days, but I recommend picking some up anyway. I think I like the bottles better than the contract brewed cans. It always had a slight corn note that I wasn't huge on, but if I look past that, it's kind of a great beer. It has excellent head retention/lacing, and has an amazing body for 4.5%, almost chewy. That body is missing in so many other American lagers. It's more of a Helles really, not much noble hop aroma.

I just bought a pint can yesterday on a walk around downtown and it was great as always.
Bottles, Cans and on tap it's always a great time

Scrimmy FTW! Maybe I can find a few days this summer to get back to Fort Bragg. It is quite remarkable that a brewery located in such a remote location has wide distribution.

Added: I just realized there will be no local commercial salmon fishing this year in California.

Old Stock and Raspy from the source are on my bucket list. I've got a tripto KRBC on my list for now since the rivers at full force and shits all green out there for now

North Coast is one of the local businesses that isn't directly dependent on the fishery. And they can help the local fishery if visitors are happy to order the odder fish.

Get yourself some Uni or some Smelt and trust they can do it

Grabbed mine at Liquorama in Upland if you're out that way. That was a week ago though, so can't say if they have any left now.
