Unfortunately not David. I only grab cans when I see new posts somewhere. But try that Williamette pils!

From what I understand, the machine that prints on date/other codes is quite expensive.

My guess is that smaller operations that are using a mobile canner probably do have that option to date code but the larger operations with their own line may not have invested in that equipment.

A simple fix would be using those supermarket stickers and placing it on the toppers.

They don’t. Buy fresh from the Brewery. It’s by far the best experience and freshest you’ll get. Scott from Windsor and The Cellar will both have extremely fresh refrigerated product too should you want to avoid the drive.

On that note, Windsor just got a fresh re-stock of Enegren today

Why would a brewery choose not to date? Cheap? Laziness? Stupidity? I don’t get it. Why sink millions into a business and then cut corners?

Thanks to this thread I received my first order from Enegren this week. Since the shipping is a flat fee and kind of steep, I took a gamble and bought a case (Helles, Hefe, Alt, Schwarz). The gamble paid off and I'm enjoying all of them. I know this is a lager thread so maybe I'm out of place to make a comment about the Hefe. I can't remember having locally made Hefe before. With this one I find it has a very bright flavor, even a little sour up front. I am enjoying that aspect, but I am wondering if that is a characteristic of a fresh Hefe or some sort of flaw?

Looking for some fresh Enegren Williamette cans in north OC (HB/Costa Mesa) or LB area.

I grabbed them at Mr. K’s not too long ago while making my brewery pickups. Maybe The Wine County may have them in LB

Been pretty impressed with the lagers I’ve had from There Does Not Exist based out of SLO.

I’ve had Effigy, their German-style Pilsner and Dream Realm, a hoppy pils, very reminiscent of Timbo, and well-executed.

On another note, their can art is pretty dope.

Heads up, though, they do not have canning dates. Would suggest following their IG for release info with regards to freshness. The beers I’ve had from them, including their kolsch style ale were about 2 weeks old at the most.

Anyone heard of Tremor brewing out of Santa Rosa? Just picked up a 12 pack of their Light Lager for a little beach fun last week and it was acceptable. Nothing wild but easy to drink. Just curious because I'm not used to new to me breweries showing up in distro with just a 12x12 of light lager

Tremor is Seismic Brewing, guess they just didn't want to have a light lager in their main brand

Ah that makes sense. Not really the separate marketing (to me anyway) but that its an existing brewery pushing a new brand

I actually bought a 6 pack for the weekend. It was an above average beer in the “light” world of rbi fa. Very affordable and organic to boot!

Made the ride to Mr K’s to pick up this Williamette cans. Glad I did. A month out and it’s tasted great yesterday. So Enegren’s next Rotating hop series comes out his Friday, “Grüegeist” hops is German for green ghost.

It looks like Enegrens 2021 American Reinheitsgebot Collaboration is with none other than Beachwood Brewing. This should be good.

Different hop bill (Centennial and Mosaic) but delicious and packaged. I'd happily cross paths with this one anytime.
