Grabbed a 4pk of Power Plant tonight. First, I'm SO glad ESBC has new label art-work. More importantly, and maybe it's been a while since I last had this, but goddamn is it drinkable. I often find TIPAs to be sticky malt bombs, and while there is some malt there for sure, this seems much more approachable than their previous versions

I've always had hope that ESBC would step it up. I've long been a fan of their beers, but they were never at the level of Beachwood and the like. Perhaps things are changing

I really wanted to try power plant but didn’t want to pay for the 12 pack shipping. Just a bit too much to justify.
Already have Big Chicken and Evil3 coming my way next month.

Mayberry really was a pleasant surprise when I had it. Whenever we get a grip on Covid and I can go back down south, I'm going to bring back a case of it.

Tasty collab of Flatland/Riip, Defection South with Strata, Nelson and HBC-692 hops. Don't sleep on Flatland, they churn out great West Coast IPAs!

Lagunitas StereoHoptic is fantastic for 10.99 a 6pk. Nelson/Mosaic and a crisp clean killer beer.

Dang. Saw it at trader joe's yesterday but it was like 2 months old so didn't buy it. Got stung by some old sucks a few weeks ago. Might have to go back and pick it up

For those who have tried the last DDH Thrillseeker, any get a medicinal flavor going on? I noticed that that specific beer had maybe a slightly higher IBU around 75. I think the Hopernicus release was somewhere around 50 where I find the most enjoyable. This batch might have not been my favorite but Beachwood will always be a staple!

I still love Mayberry! Mosaic is by far my favorite hop for a west coast IPA and this is perfect example of it. They started selling it in 16oz cans and now carry them at my Costco for $10 a 4 pack. Always have some on hand now.

I don't know if you get New Glory in your area but if you do, give their Do You Even Mosaic, Broh? a try. Another great mosaic WC IPA. It highlights the sharper mosaic flavors vs Mayberry, which seemed to deliver the softer side of mosaic excellently. I'd probably get sick of it eventually, but I wouldn't be mad about having just those two on rotation for a while

Wildfields is doing great things and Ryan is awesome. If you are on the Central Coast you should also check out Liquid Gravity Brewing in San Luis Obispo

Radiant That Track Is A Groove is one of the best Westy’s I’ve ever had. Dylan Thomas couldn’t write a poem about it because he would be too busy drinking it.

Got my PtY again this year (lucked into a second box plus the member sale). Looking forward to trying it side-by-side with Power Plant again.

I preordered Big Chicken and Evil3. So that’s my consolation prize. Was hoping I could get someone to send me a power plant.

next year I’ll try to go to the Bistro IPA festival and have them all together.

Had a KRBC There's Still Beauty... That might be one of the best smelling IPAs I've had in awhile, and, of course, it tastes fanfreakingfantastic. Really wish I had grabbed more

Noble released Citra Showers today. 24 big ones a 4 pack if anyone is feeling adventurous. :stuck_out_tongue:

Citra showers used to be delicious but how is anyone still buying this, let alone for 24 dollars. I have no clue who Noble's target audience is. Beer nerds, casual craft beer drinkers, younger new to craft beer drinkers, old timers getting into craft beer for the first time, old school noble drinkers buying for nostalgia? Genuinely curious about who's going to be buying this. After years of it seeming like they've been struggling and going through a pandemic, Noble is still going. It's kind of impressive. Man they used to make some of the best WC ipa.
