I have a good friend that is going there on vacation for a week next week. He is going to be on a beer hunt. What is the good stuff there? And where are the places to go to get it??
Total Wine and BevMo are good places to start. Also try Papagos in Scottsdale. A great craft bar with 30 taps and a very well stocked cooler of bottles. And they do not gouge you on the price. Sun Devil Liquors in Mesa is also another place to try. Hope this helps.
Yep, I second the Total Wine for sure. Probably won't find better prices anywhere in town with an amazing selection. If you are looking for a great Belgian selection hit up Tops Liquor in Tempe or it's sister store Sun Devil Liquor in Mesa. Price wise it's no Total Wine but you would be hard pressed to find a better Belgian selection than these two places.
