What are the best beer drinking items for a camper (not RV). I go on a big camp and kayak trip every year and would love some new ideas. Currently we keg some homebrewing on one night and bottles and cans the rest of the time. Lask year I had a kozy that went around my neck for the kayak trip. What does everyone else use when they are camping. Kozies, coolers, whatever.

my wife and i once were camping in a small town in holland and went to the capsite bar around 7pm, the beer was great brand pils on draught and the superb bottled urtyp, which the friendly waitress insisted i pronounced properly before serving me. after a very hot day looking around the city of den bosch we were thirsty, but then we were told the bar closed a 8pm. we emarked on a typical british binge session then bought a crate of bottles to take back to the tent and savour ar leisure eating mature dutch cheese fresh baked rye bread and watching a swarm of flying ants perform free for us, we were joined by a young dutch guy who was cycling and camping and had a great evening. the next night we arrived at the bar at 6pm and enjoyed a good few beers if a little fast, shortly before the dreaded 8pm closing time the waitress came over and told us she had a crate of beer cooling if we were interested. it was another hot sultry evening so once again we sat and enjoyed our biers with some superb dutch sausages and we were given two superb brand glasses to drink from. the moral is if theres a bar nearby check out the times or buy your beers during the day.

This past summer we brought a rolling trashcan for a couple of kegs. Our sites were set for the week, so we didn't need to be mobile. It wasn't very insulated, but it got the job done for the week. Ironically, my friend and I had built an insulated crate that holds two kegs...he was just too lazy to get it out of storage.

I think I am going to order these too, one of the guys in my group has one and they suction right to the side of the rafts and kayaks. As silly as they are they really work remarkably well
