CAMRA Membership?

Nearly everyone I know who is into good beer is a non smoker, however there are obviously folks who do smoke

At the time those vocal against the smoking ban seemed to hint more to threat of pub closures and atmosphere/patronage loss as their main bone of contention against the ban

I've always been an ardent anti-smoker and therefore got fed up with the wole debate

I'm only here for the beer !!!

Since the ban the pub (and I mean good beer pubs) and more so the micro-brewery scene in the UK has gone from strength to strength!

 

Oh the actual breweries from the USA. Ok then.
Sorry let's just say i'm not a fan of the new US approach to craft beer. I'm solidly an old fashioned 'beer should be something to drink not to faff around with tastes and smells etc (pretty much treated like a wine/spirit when drunk)'

 

member for around 30 years, never been to a Branch Meeting, attended some Branch Socials, worked at many, many beer Festivals, hardly used any Wetherspoons vouchers, organised several tutored tastings with the good and the great for GBBF, have beard, don't wear socks with sandals, no time for tickers, no time for Ratebeerians who think a 1.5oz sample is sufficient to 'rate' a beer, appreciate good beer
