After what happened to me at the magnet I am seriously considering rejoining

One of the secondary things I enjoyed about pub visits were meeting new people chatting and the whole sociable thing

I've noticed a huge decline in this
I used to be very shy and even though I've overcome this I still very rarely am the one to start a conversation

it puzzled me why I was talking to people less and less in pubs

and that idiot that tried to con me is the answer why, because when you try to engage with someone just to make the pub experience more inclusive they are thinking you have some angle to get money out of them
