    Probably.

I had an Ayinger Maibock last night. It blew me away. It was amazing.

In Illinois, Church Street Brewing and Metropolitan both brew lagers and have brewed some tasty bocks. Church St. maibock was very tasty.

Celebrator and Korbinian for me too. As well as Ayinger Weizen-bock, this beer changed the way I looked at beers, I could drink only this for the rest of my life. I could drink anything from either of these two brewers for the rest my life for that matter.

Locally Wolverine State brewery has a hickory aged bock and a Maibock on that are both excellent. Both are overlooked styles that I enjoy quite a bit.

had some hb maibock on tap today. It was awesome! I've had it before but today it seemed to hit the right chords. I'm certainly a bock lover as of this day.

Ramstein Mai Bock is the best American version I've had to date.

    OP says,
Not bitching, stating an obvious fact around here and it looks like he has a lot of agreement. If you feel Brown Ales are also under-represented start another thread and see what shakes from the trees.

I love bocks but they're a seasonal spring beer, imo.

Many Bavarian Christmas beers are Doppelbocks.

If anything, bocks (mainly doppelbocks) seem to be the only German styles that DO get any respect...even if it still isn't much.
At one time (maybe as recently as 2008) Celebrator, Andechser, and Korbinian were all in the top 50. I think Celebrator might have even been #1 way back when. They're no worse than they were back then, they just aren't rare, barrel-aged, filled with exotic ingredients, etc.

Their Generator Doppelbock was superb this year.

I was excited to see the Church St. Helles bottles at a local, but there was something off in the flavor -- not sure if they were old bottles or a struggle with brewing lagers.

Troegs Cultivator passed without a blip on the BA radar, and it was fucking awesome. Certainly cheered me up from the cemented draft-only status of St Boisterous.

Apart from Troegs, I don't really see too many bocks on the market aside from the doppellbock sort. Seems a category destined for draft-only limited releases

Bocks and DBs usually show up in some form in my fridge.

Probably the best bock I've had was Schonramer Saphir, amazing stuff.

On a regular basis I stock Av Eisbock, Granitbock, Aecht Schlenkerla's Smoked DB, and Vitus. When Korbinian is good it's great, but I notice more variation in it than Vitus so I generally stick with Vitus.

My understanding is Dead Guy is a Helles Bock, if it is it's great but the Double Dead Guy isn't as good IMHO.
