Can beer be produced using immersion circulation?

    If wort is produced maintaining certain tempuratures, could an immersion circulator be used to produce it?

    Yes, look up HERMS or RIMS systems.

    Might be better for the Homebrew forum, but sure. For the mashing stage at least. When you get to the full boil you really wouldn't want to... high temps + sugars = gummy bits.

    I've never brewed but I'm a chef by trade and began to wonder about this. Has anyone used these systems themselves?

    I have only read about them. I personally have recently started all grain brewing with single infusion mashing and fly sparge using Igloo coolers.
