You could probably get it done with someone who got their full allocation, and who hasn't already traded away any.

Post a ISO:FT and see if it gets done, shouldn't take too long in my opinion, but who knows these days!

I would guess yes. Especially if the locals are other HF or coveted VT breweries

I bet it would be possible without any extras

No, that's definitely not the case. Given the price differential, making up $4$ with VT locals would definitely be necessary. And no, I don't own any DDG.

The thing is, there are dudes out there disregard the price discrepancy as long as they get the bottle they're in search of. It doesn't sound logical but it happens.

Yeah, you're probably right. I wouldn't trade with either party who would be happy for such a discrepancy.

Obviously, anything in the top 100 on the white whale list operates on logic disconnected from $4$, of course, but that's not the case on either side here.

You see that excuse being used here pretty often. From my perspective, the one who's being shorted on the $4$ end is happy because they finally got their hands on their highly coveted bottle, and the dude on the other end is happy because he just got over on the other guy. But all that matters is that both parties are happy right? haha It doesn't make sense, but that's the way it is.

Why would you post this thread instead of just posting an ISO? If someone was interested, you would be all wrapped up by now or you would know that you needed to up your end. Sorry, I don't mean to sound like a dick but I just don't understand.

I've traded Herfst 1:1 with sour in the rye w/ peaches. St. Lamvinus for Vigneronne 1:1. And all kinds of other trades where people said I went above the minimum. Didn't care. I got the exact bottles I wanted in exchange for bottles I didn't need. If I can get a little extra, then Hallelujah it shall be shared.
