Can I still find BCBS in NYC?

This is my favorite beer and it instantly sells out in MN so I'm only able to get a handful of bottles every year. I heard that the east coast gets an insane amount of Bourbon County Stout. I'll be in NYC next week and I was wondering if BCBS (regular, not interested in variants) is still sitting on shelves. I'll be staying in midtown Manhattan and willing to take the subway if necessary.

    Thank you in advance.

Yes, most Whole Foods locations still have them.

Most Whole Foods still have them and Milk and Hops in Chelsea has regular and Barleywine still. Clinton Gourmet has regular...use beermenus, it's around.

I'm pretty sure Food Emporium on 8th Ave has them also.

They had a ton of them when I was there 2 weeks ago.

I think WF CC may be cheaper-- the food emporium I prefer not to go to; if you do end up going to WF, you may need to walk into the ramen place (where many of the quality beers are behind the bar) and ask... If I remember right, I believe the BCS are in a funny place, like to the right above the wine-by-the-glass cooler...there may also be some on the floor, but the ramen bartenders are the ones to ask

in whole foods CC, not sure if some BCBS are also in the bar area (worth looking in there because you may find other goodies), but for sure some were on the shelf out in the beer dept. next to the other stouts.

Probably because their prices are outrageous.

That'll do it . I didn’t check the price, tbh, but just happened to see a bunch of them.

Is this what beer has come to? Ask the ramen bartender? WTF? I had to read this a few times. What happened to just going to the beer distributor and getting beer?

Use beer menus to if you are interested in it on tap. Rattle n Hum has 2014, been on for over a week now. Are people not that excited anymore for BCBS?

    No, they're not.

If it's not a "hazy NE-styled (D)IPA" or "double dry-hopped," chances are you have an excellent shot to get it.

What he said. The Food Emporium on 49th and 8th definitely has them. I stop in fairly often during lunch to browse for beers that don't get distributed to NJ.

Its also been very hot lately. I know when I walk into a bar in this weather I don't typically want a barrel aged stout, no matter how good it is.

I'm not just talking about stouts, but pretty much any type of beer other than those types of (d)IPAs and, maybe, but not as prevalent, sours.

Le District at World Financial Center, but they're $14.99 each, which you clearly do not need to pay.

Y'all are crazy, the weather does not dictate what I drink or eat (Ivan Ramen for my birthday in July, hell yeah! ). Thanks to this thread I hit up WFCC for that BCBS to bring on my camping trip upstate next weekend; that thick chewy beer oil will burn the last bits of sunlight away quite nicely (after crushing DDH IPA's of course).
