Let's not forget that Troy is pretty much flying solo with this whole brewing and blending thing. There are only so many hours in the day to get shit done. I think it's far less calculated than were suggesting here.

Where are you walking out with 2 cases (unless you're a member) with the limits set at:

    The Low End - $15 - 2 BOTTLE LIMIT
    Brett Loves Citra - $18 - 6 BOTTLE LIMIT
Dry Hop Oak Theory Amarillo and Simcoe - $24 - 1 BOTTLE LIMIT
The Cut: Montmorency Cherry - $36 - 2 BOTTLE LIMIT

I think Casey Brewing and Blending has one employee, and his name is on the bottles.

I kind of like the 3hr drive. Just for a few Casey beers? No. But a beautiful drive into the great Rocky Mointains and being in a shangrila/Mecca of camping, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, wildlife, nature, some of the best ski and summer resorts, lakes, streams.... It's a nice, relaxing weekend getaway

Sure, CS and The Source are nice if you want to keep the urbanite feel, but I do that all week. It's a great change of pace. Even monthly if I could do it.

Are you going to drink them or blindly buy them to trade?

My wife and I planned a trip to Colorado and specifically planned it around a Casey release. I can't tell you how excited I am to see the city, the scenery and meet some great people. Oh yeah, and try some great beer. I know it seems like an inconvenience at times to make the 3 hour drive, and this is going to sound like hippy nonsense, just remember to cherish it. An amazing beer (haven't had the chance to try the one East Bank I have from them yet), within a 3 hour drive through beautiful mountains sounds like a win to me. There are times it takes me and hour and 15 minutes to get to Jester King from Downtown Austin on a Friday and that's only 18 miles and I have nothing but bumper to bumper traffic to look at and anger me. Cheers and I'm sure I'll see some of you in August. Enjoy the 4th, I bet it'll be amazing.

^This. Just remind yourselves all the demand, and Troy is pretty much doing it himself. Granted he could expand, but expansion isn't always easy or cheap and a lot of times mean debt.

You really are right about this. The drive to and from Glenwood (especially the 45 minutes or so closest to Glenwood) is absolutely beautiful. 6 hours of driving in a day for beer is a lot, but I'll never complain about it because of the scenery.

Agreed, it takes a big commitment, basically devoting an entire day off but that I bet that payoff is worth it, lol.
