So my question isn't more or less can you, but if you do does it hold up and does it keep its heavy toasted coconut taste. I've looked everywhere for an answer to this. I ask because a) the bottle says consume fresh b) the alcohol content is considerably low (compared to an imperial) and c) I've heard you'll lose most of the coconut. D) because the toasted coconut bomb was probably my favorite characteristic of the beer. Thanks for the help!

Sounds like you have it figured it out as to why not age it

For having had it, drink fresh!

I drank mine with a few months on it and still tasted like when I had it on tap. But being a lower abv porter I wouldn't hang onto it for that long.
