Can you make a "don't want" list?

I really like the "Want list" feature that allows me to read up on beers ahead of time to mark the ones that sound like I'd enjoy so I can buy them when I see them at the store. But I've found that there are just as many beers that look appealing on the shelf but when I read about them sound like beers I would not like (or all of BeerAdvocate doesn't like). Would there be a way to make a "Don't Want List" to track those beers we've researched but have no interest in?

I could be wrong here, but I thought want/got were for trading, not for personal tracking. For trading, not putting it on your want list would imply not want.

Personally, I only use the "Gots" section and I use it to track what beer I physically have on hand. but i don't count my cellared beers

It's impossible to mark everything you want. I actually like the idea of a do not want list, I have a nut allergy and I've been extrad a stout with some kind of nuts on 2 boxes. Only one on this site. It'd be nice to let them know that those particular bottles should be sent to someone who would appreciate them more.

I'd never thought to use the want list in that way, that's a great idea! There are dozens of beers I've had in the past that I've never rated and I never think to buy them because I know them already but I probably should (i.e. Rochefort 6, Delerium Tremens, La Chouffe, Ch'ti, etc.).

A "not want" list would be helpful as well; and I also had problems when I was trading because people would send me beers I'd already sampled.

If it's not too difficult I think it'd be a great update.

Wants and gots were not created solely with trading in mind. It's primary purpose is to simply track the beers that a user wants or currently has on hand.

Not having a beer on their wants list would work as implying they don't want it if everyone kept an immaculate, and updated "wants" list and didn't just include whales and such.

A "do not want" list would be a nice addition. Then someone could at least keep a list of beers they've tried a sip of and just loathed, or just otherwise have no interest in drinking.
