Does anyone know of a good Canadian beer website that ships to the UK? With a mate I'm working my way through the "1001 Beers to try before you die" book, but none of my European suppliers do any Canadian beers at all ( yet they'll do everything from Kenya to Laos to Argentina!!!) Suggestions? Thanks Richard
Doubtful. I don't think it's legal in any Province to do this. However, this list is extremely underwhelming. Canada Amnesiac Double IPA Black Oak Nut Brown Ale Blanche de Chambly Boréale Blanche Brockton IPA Coup de Grisou Derníere Volonté Éphémére (Apple) Garrison Imperial Pale Ale Grand Baltic Porter Granite Best Bitter Special Humulus Ludicrous Iron Duke King Pilsner MacKroken Flower Maudite (Unibroue) McNally’s Extra Ale Mill Street Coffee Porter Mitchell’s ESB Olde Deuteronomy Barleywine Palliser Porter Phillips Original IPA Propellers Extra Special Bitter Propeller IPA Rosée d’Hibiscus Route des Épices St.-Ambroise Pale Ale St.-Ambroise Oatmeal Stout Terrible Trois Pistoles Wild Rose Cherry Porter
yea i wouldnt worry about that list too much.. the only couple i see from the west coast: 1) phillips original IPA (seems to be retired, no longer brewed) 2)Brockton IPA (rated 78 on this site, nothing to get exited about) 3) Phillips amnesiac (I enjoy, but there are better IPAs around) One of our more popular IPAs seems to have made it to scotland through what looks like a new startup importer (http://www.scocan.uk/): http://www.heraldscotland.com/life_...f_the_Week__Fat_Tug_IPA_by_Driftwood_Brewery/ The beer scene here, especially on the west coast, is evolving so fast that its hard to really pin down must try beers. I think your best bet would be to plan out a beer vacation across Canada
Wow must be old. We're approaching 130 breweries in BC, yet only 3 beers on there!?! (none of the 3 which I would recommend tbh)
I have a Belgian trip planned for the New Year, but if it were Canada, I'd have to bring wife and child....
