Dieu Du Ciel. Although available here in many areas. What part of Canada are you going to? I don't believe all of Canada is within a cab-ride away. Also, some parts are the land of milk-and-honey when it comes to Cantillon.
Depends on what you like. What ones have you had? What other beers do you like within the respective styles they brew? Are you looking purely for trade fodder? If so, the correct answer is, "buy the ones your local friends will like, and leave the rest"
They only do lambics. The good news is Calgary has a couple of stores that stock the best of Canadian brewing, unlike the rest of Canada (sadly). You can get (if I am got mistaken) Half Pints, Driftwood, Garrison, DDC among others. They also have a ton of great imports like Cantillon....
If you are looking for Cantillon in Alberta beermail me. I pretty much know who has what. You at least have to make it to Calgary or Edmonton to load up on Cantillon. For stuff that is special there are very small amounts of Le Trou du Diable barrel aged beers, there are two Drie Fountains, Tilquin, De Ranke Kriek and Cuvee and other cool shit. The Mikkeller rep also brings in crazy stuff, depending on how hard your want to shop I think you can get four different barrel aged expressions of the Beer Geek Breakfast. Also when are you here, there are a bunch of way cool beer events happening in Calgary and Edmonton in the next month.
Ummmm, up above Washington is BC (Vancouver), and above East side of Montana is Saskatchewan. Might want to get a map. There's a few mountains (and 30 hours driving) in between.
