This Canadian is going to be driving south from Alberta into Montana and then East into North Dakota. We will likely be in Bismarck for a couple days before heading up to Manitoba.

Are there any great bottle shops in Bismarck I should visit? When I am in the U.S. I always try to get my hands on some beer I can't get up here. Which is plenty.

Any locally brewed beer that I must try before I leave ND?

    Thanks!

Laughing Sun in Bismarck is solid.

I like Gee Williquors in Northeast Bismarck, probably has the widest variety. All of the Captain Jacks are pretty solid too, there are three different ones spread around Bismarck.

Laughing sun is a great brewpub as already noted. Right downtown near lots of other bars/restaurants.
