LAB (Lexington Avenue Brewing) in Asheville closed late last year to reopen as a CANarchy Collaboratory, which will be part of CANarchy Craft Brewery Collective — whose members include Oskar Blues Brewery and Cigar City Brewing. https://mountainx.com/food/beer-scout-canarchy-collaboratory-to-open-in-former-lab-space/

The article states they are working with three "long term" Asheville breweries, who will be brewing collaboration beers at their breweries.... now the speculation which breweries that might include.

Long term breweries in Asheville (10+ years), or what is 'long term' in an emerging industry?
10+ years includes; Asheville Brewing, Wedge, Highland, Greenman, French Broad River, Oyster House, and Pisgah Brewing.
5+ years would include; One World, Twin Leaf, Hi-Wire, Burial, and Lookout.

Now it appears that the CANarchy is no longer. Although they still have an active brewing permit for this location in Asheville, the location is no longer listed on the https://www.collaboratoryavl.com/ website, and Bold Rock Cider has announced they will be opening a Cidery and taproom at the 39 N Lexington Ave location.

Yeah, they shut down for COVID and permanently closed in the Fall.

Bold Rock is the southern version of Woodchuck. Maybe they can colab with the new Monk hard seltzer place south of town & make flavored hand sanitizer. Hopefully the new downtown Botanist taproom location will do well enough. I mix Lexington, they had a good barleywine & good burgers.
