I'll start the way I do every time:

    I like beer!

Phil is easy that way

My wants are up to date (although I would consider this more of a wish list than a want list) as are my gots (which is the list of beers I have yet to drink & review).

I am generally open to trying anything, especially small micro brews that are not available out west. My favourites are Belgian styles (tripels, quads, saisons), IPA's/DIPA's, RIS and anything unique. Only style I am not really into are big sours.

I generally review everything I try so if I haven't reviewed it (or list it as a got) then chances are I've never had it.

Always looking for anything from Bellwoods that I have not tried as well as a few beers from the Canadian Top 50 (listed on my profile).

    Finally

My wants and gots are up to date, but on the other site (same handle). My wants are, like FondueVoodoo, more of a wish list or reminder of beer I'd like to try. If there is beer in those bottles I'll be happy!

Only style I can't seem to like is smoked beer.

I'm a big fan of white whales and other impossible to find stuff.

I know that's not a very reasonable request so I'll say that I also like very expensive beers. Things like Utopias, Xyauyù barleywines, and The End of History. Also overpriced shelf whales from unscrupulous vendors will work.

Thanks in advance to whoever got me!

I will try to update my "wants" and my "gots" (beers I have, but I have yet to drink) tonight or tomorrow at the latest.

I prefer anything unrated (see Ratebeer under the same username) but I don't mind getting a few beers I already had (especially if it's lambic, you can send me a box of only 3 Fonteinen Oude Gueuze or Tilquin Gueuze and I will be the happiest man on earth, lol). Style wise, I have a preference for anything Sour or not too high in abv (I have way too much stouts / Barley Wine in the cellar already), but any style is fine really, including Ciders (I love these). Homebrew is always fun too.

I'm leaving for Europe from October 8th to October 27th so I would like if my box can arrive at least a few days before I'm leaving to make sure I have the time to pick the box and that I can drink the hoppy stuff (if there's some) before I leave. With the shipping dates of the BIF, it shouldn't be a problem at all though.

    Hints for my target:

#1: My target lives West of me (that doesn't eliminate a bunch of people)

#2: I have never traded with my target before (that eliminates a lot of people)

    More hints to come soon.

It's easier to check my Untappd account (https://untappd.com/user/Jkoebel) than for me to go through all of the beer I want and have here on BA. I LOVE stouts (especially BA & coffee ones), belgians, saisons, and sours. But I'll drink most anything other than ESB's and barley wines. If I've rated something high, I have no problem getting it again. Rare is always great, but I don't expect it as we're keeping this trade a bit more low key.

    Hints for my target:
1)- lives east of me (obvious)
    2)- is a man
3)- lives on a street that is a part of town where I live.

    Oh forgot the hints:

    1- Lives West of me.

2- Has three numbers in his postal code.

3- There is the letter A in the province name.

Maybe that's too easy, he'll probably know who he is as soon as he sees my post.

Easiest guy to shop for. Brad's guilty pleasure is Bud Lime-a-Rita which I'm sure he would love more of.

I probably deserve a shipper full of that.

    K, super serial now.

I love saisons, sours, IPAs/DIPA's, and barleywines.
I like almost any other style.
I don't like hefe's, heavily spiced beers (winter warmers and most pumpkin beers), and anything that's a real big whiskey or bourbon bomb.

I suppose my wants are sorta accurate. I'll add a few, but I wouldn't worry about them too much.

Sours, saisons, and IPA's are my preferred styles while smoked beers and scotch ales are two I'm not a huge fan of. You're best to just sort through here, though, to get a better idea of what I enjoy: https://untappd.com/user/KeKeKumba

My target participated in the last CANBIF and lives near someone I've recently traded with. Box to go out after I return from DC next weekend.

I haven't used wants and gots, but most of what I've had since joining the site I've rated. I'll try to update the gots section, as I do have a bunch of Quebec stuff on hand that I've yet to try. In short, much of what the rest of the country has to offer (i.e. not Ontario) will be new to me if it is in the box.

I like to try almost everything, and suffer from wanttotryeverythingitis. My only dislikes are beers flavoured with peaches/nectarines/apricots. I've been off sours for a few months, but am ready to jump back in. Love IPA/IIPA, Dubbels, tripels.

Hint #1 My target lives further away from me than my target in the Spring CANBIF.

I love anything funky. I love IIPAs, IPAs, variations, Saisons, Wheat, B or W wines, all ales, I/Stouts, Barrels, the only thing I don't like is sours. I got my target, this is going to be a great box... I am shipping next week, and the hints will start coming soon!

My target has the same initials (first and last name) as I do, although not necessarily in the same order.

    Greetings fellow beer belchers!

I love barrel aged ales and stouts and enjoy pretty much everything else. Just like trying new beers. I'm not really into overly hoppy beers (IIPA for ex.) but don't let that stop you from putting one in. Just don't send an entire box of super hoppy IPA's

Looking forward to my first BIF! Easiest thing to do would be to check my untappd list (https://untappd.com/user/CaptainMurphy) as I don't keep a wants list. I like anything new, particularly beers with lots of flavour or anything different/uncommon. Seasonals or local-only releases are always a good idea. I like porters/stouts/RIS, European-style wheat, fruit/spiced beers inc. chili, sours, etc. I'm not a hop-head, but enjoy IPAs with lots of aroma.

    Hints to come!

I also don't keep a wants list, but will be easy enough to please. Love IPA's, stouts all kinds and sours. Just enjoy getting to try things I can't get in my area, so pretty much anything will be appreciated.

I also don't have any wants, and to be honest have never even reviewed a beer ( maybe I should look into that ).
So from the formal site I might be a tough read.

I'm just interested in trying beers I can't get in Ontario or Buffalo.
For me it's one of my favorite parts of the hobby , trying new breweries and new beers.

Stylistically my favourites are fresh IIPA, big stouts ( BBA or other) and saisons, I'm not the biggest fan of barley wines.

My target lives west of me, and although his wants seem focused in one state there are a few I might be able to pick off his list.

I'm starting the box right after this message...
