CANBIF Fall 2016

I have a box packed up and ready to ship. I plan to drop it off tomorrow.

I wasn't able to shop as much as I had wanted so the box is much more cellar oriented than planned. If my target likes this post, I will send a follow-up box in a few weeks full of fresh hoppy beers.

Jay, i couldn't thank you enough for all the good stuff.And i am specially thankful for the Black Albert.Above all.This is the BEST stout i've ever had and i'm sure it will bring back memories of a beer trip i once made at Ebernezer's Pub.I would always go back to the Black Albert.Nectar of the Gods.That's how good it was ...

 

I've rounded up most of the box after grabbing a growler today and started packing. Turns out it's predominantly a locally-sourced, hop-forward box - what can I say, lots of hop juice flowing right now! Looks like I can fit another beer in there, so it should top out somewhere around 263oz.

Hint - heading somewhere within 10km of a provincial border.

 

My box is off and on its way... to a village/town/city named after a place in Europe in a Province east of me.

As mentioned before, it is cellar heavy, and uber-local. It should arrive at its destination on Tuesday.

Glad you liked. Saw the Black Albert on your want this and glad to oblige. I know crowlers have a more limited shelf life, so if that Double Clutch doesn't hold up, please let me know and I'll replace with other hoppy Ontario offerings. Cheers!

 

I sent mine last week, and the ETA is Oct 24... thanks Obama! But the person receiving this box should be happy... although it has some hops that was fresh when shipped, but by then should taste like water. Wonderful, canabis-like green-hop-like water. Its headed to a city that is a reduced-term sexual position.

 

I really enjoyed googling that to determine if my town fit the hint...

Your box in en route. You have had none of the 14 Ontario beers and 2 American beers I'm sending you according to your notes. You have also definitely not had the Ontario made soda I'm sending either.

You live far west of me and will be drinking some good stuff soon. I hope it was worth the wait.

So out of commission for 3 days after iguenard gave me another STD (or caught a cold)....

So my box is going out tomorrow. But today, while sleeping in the middle of day I was woken up with a nice box of beer...may have to wait to open anything up though.

Not sure who sent this as the box look like it was not treated nicely...little worried that something had broken but the leakage was from something else.
