I came home to a big, beautiful box of beer this evening.

Holy fuck is it full of goodness.

I don't know who sent it to me, but whoever you are, thanks a fucking million. Each one of these beers is highly rated and super interesting, which I really appreciate. Also, my wife, who just gave birth to our first child, is a HUGE Cantillon Kriek fan so the extra special bottle you included will be opened in honour of our new daughter Ellie May.

My targets box is coming together. A little slower than planned, but that might allow me to pick something up being released this weekend from Toronto’s favorite Brewery.

Heading out to two new breweries just opened a little outside the centre of the universe. Will taste and buy for my target if deemed worthy of CANBIF.

Out for delivery as of an hour ago! Unfortunately it is really, really cold at the destination right now (14°C below seasonal) and no signature is required. I think I may have to message my target...

 

I did a bit of research and found this, so here's my public PSA:

Finally going to get my box all packed up and hopefully in the mail today. Picked up another few great releases to try and stuff in, I think I have 17 multi format beers to send.

 

Box was just delivered on a -7C porch. Hopefully someone was home, or will be home soon!

 

32lbs of 17 different beers & ciders ranging from 3.5% to 10% on their way east to my target. I had to do some surgery on the styro shipper to make it all fit! It looks like several of my targets neighbors have swimming pools, and it’s -4C in your city right now.

 

Not me anyway. Checked the porch all day. Temp here was -7 so I got excited but the fresh snow said nobody hit my porch today. Hopefully the target hooks that brew up soon! Only chimed in as the clues lead me to believe I might be the target.

Signature is great for CANBIF. This time of year surprised us but when sending to an unknown signature is great for both sides comfort.

 

A massive box arrived to me this morning and all I can say is WOW! All new brews to me and some very unique sounding ones. Thank you so much Toni (CaptainMurphy) for the box that warped my front steps.
