    For cellar-able stuff, my favourites tend to be BA stouts and lambic. I also like saisons and other stuff that holds up well. Not a huge fan of barley-wines, they tend to be hit or miss for me.

    I may have missed it in the original post. Are we expected to use styrofoam shippers for this? If so, I may need to order some.

    To my sender.

    - I would consider myself a ticker and enjoy trying new beers (Untappd - Amado88);
    - not overly picky, but not the biggest fan of over the top sour or acetic beers;
    - I often chase the hype train, but have been pleasantly surprised by some delicious local offerings in past iterations of CANBIF;
    - thank you very much in advance!

    ----------

    I would also like to extend a sincere thank you to @Electros for once again organizing/facilitating this endeavour!

    Cheers fellas!

    Guess I was too early with preferences-- see first page for reference!

    To summarize, yes to big malty beers, yes to Lambic, yes to mixed-ferm saison(etc) and Lambic, no to "sours." Totally fine with lactose and adjuncts.

    Also happy with great new stuff in general.

    Thanks in advance!

    Excited for another round of from thee cellar! Thanks Electros!

    I am a big fan of big beers, barrel aged big beers, lambic, mixed ferm saison/grisette, wine hybrid, brett in beer. Huge fan of historical english beer. If you have any Sam Smith Stingo, I will gladly take just a box of those.

    Not really a fan of super sour, kettle sour, little ponies, dark sour beer and the like.

    Not really a ticker. I will gladly drink something I have had and like. Thebeerhobo on untappd

    I’m good with almost anything that one considers cellar worthy. My only request would be nothing in the Cascade/Referend vein; super sour wild beers. As I get older, they tend to give me heartburn almost immediately.

    Preferences would be Barleywines, BA Barleywines, big stouts, barrel aged or otherwise. I love apple brandy/Calvados barrel aged stouts and sours, Lambic or lambic inspired wild beers are great too, fruited ones in particular.

    I do tend to like to tick new beers, but anything I’ve had before and have rated highly I’d appreciate again. I keep track of things on this website.

    Last year I recieved a bottle of Boon/Mikkeller Oude Gueuze in this BIF. It was my favourite beer of 2019. If you just want to send a couple of those, I’d be thrilled!

    Hey to my sender.

    I will be happy with big stouts or porters BA or not BA. If it's with some addon it's even better. Unusual barrel an I am more than happy. Also, like Barleywines. Don't mind Lambics. Less excited by Sour, Brett, or Wild stuff but also will be happy to try something new. Untappd is Nesh05.

    One ask for a big favor. I am moving July first so I would like to ask about sending it after this date. Just to avoid any issues with the wrong delivery.

    Cheers!

    To my sender:

    This is my first time participating and I'm already looking forward to the mail! I love barrel aged beers, imperial/high abv beers, big stouts, belgian quads, triples, dubbels, barleywines, and strong IPAs (not that those are usually good for the cellar). I don't mind a funk element, but I am really not a fan of sours, goses, lambics, etc.

    Cheers!

    To my sender:

    It's been a few years at least, I like pretty much all styles of beer, especially those that age well. Favourites are barleywines, Quebec made scotch ales but feel free to send whatever, I enjoy the exbeerimentation, I like all styles, and I get a kick out of cellaring beers, especially local gems.

    To my receiver:

    Get ready, I have a decent sized cellar! I also have a cellared 15 year old Miller High Life can...if it accidentally falls in your box, please pass it on in another BIF.

    LIKES: Coffee in beer! Like everyone else on here, I enjoy old ales, barleywines, and BBA stouts that aren't diabetes sweet. I'd be happy with anything barrel-aged that isn't stomach-dissolvingly acidic or tastes of diacetyl. I like quads/dubels, but find tripels too spiced. Anything dry and clean. Wee Heavies. Gimmie that crazy ABV shit. Well-made or innovative mead (Schramm's, B. Nektar). Or beers that incorporate mead/wine or grapeskins/must.

    DISLIKES: Smoked beers. Rum barrel-aged. Lactose in beers other than milk stout. Most spiced or fruited beer. Most recent IPAs - DIPAs and Bruts are great, but not NE IPAs. I don't tend to like IPAs with a piney profile or hop burn/aggressive hopping either. As a rule, I tend find most lagers skunky.

    You can find me on Untappd with the same username, and I'll send Electros a link to my cellar. Thanks for reading my monologue.

    Rest assured I don't think any hoppy IPAs are going to be sent out. :wink:
