I am going to try and get mine out before the end the week. The stock has been bought, need to package and mail it...

Box is assembled and packaged (save for one bottle), but I'll ship next Monday for my targets sake.

Although I'm not participating, just a note on cold weather shipping. My BA partner in crime and I shipped parcels back and forth in both early December and February (evening lows ranging in the -10 to -15 degrees) from Thunder Bay to Calgary without any issues; and to/from my brother in Kelowna in late January (lows again in the -15 range). I'm not sure if the stryofoam UHaul wine shippers played a role in insulating the package, but I wouldn't be overly concerned about lows of -2. But then again, I can respect your hesitation because nobody wants to risk any of that liquid gold package to go to waste!
Looking forward to checking out everyone's posts once they are revealed!

It isn't as simple as just looking at the temperatures. You also have to look at the ABV of the beers being shipped. the higher the ABV, the lower the temperatures it can withstand. If I am risking winter shipping, I will usually only do so with higher ABV beers. 8% plus beers can typically withstand -5 to -7 celcius.

I also agree with that point that styro shippers help insulate the beer from the cold. One of the many reasons that I only use those for shipping beer now. They are worth the money.

Where do you get your styro shippers? I used to have wine importers in the office next to me, but they moved out of my building.

All boxed up and ready to ship in the morning. Sorry about the ghetto packing job …and the swag. haha

I’m off to Disneyland with the family in a few days and won’t be around when it lands. The hotel is about 10 minutes from the Bruery so between that and the parks it’ll be pretty busy. …Did I mention the cellar releases every day this month for their anniversary?

Hope it gets there okay. 4000 km is a long ways!

As long as ghetto gets it there in one piece.

I put the really crappy ones on the bottom so no biggie if they break anyways.

Just did a bit of shopping and cellar analysis... Got my brews picked out, now I just need to find a box big enough for all these here beers. I even got my target a want or two...

I unfortunately did not have a chance to include too much swag but hopefully the beer makes up for it.

Same here. I threw in a couple extra Dead Frog Lagers to make up for it. Thanks to their recent reality tv publicity they're BC's most famous brewery! Gotta represent.

I didn't want to throw in a whale like that and make you guys all look bad...
Man that stuff is terrible. Wordemupg said it best - "unless you have scurvy I can't think of a reason for you to drink this beer"

I sent my box out today, all 19lbs of it. It has less then 2000km to travel. Also, my apologies in advance, I just realized my swag (Garrison/Sugah Brew bar) is still sitting on my table. I will have to get it out to my target in a future trade. Hopefully the beer selection will make up for it in the mean time.

You guys are fast! I don't plan on shipping until Monday or so. Also, I have no real swag, so I'll just add extra beer! :stuck_out_tongue:

Packing up box tonight. 233oz, and swag to someone West of me in a city and Province I've never been before. Will hopefully ship out tomorrow.

Good point about the ABV I think the average among the brews shipped was around 8%, so that certainly would've helped.
