CANBIF Spring 2016 - Hints & Hauls

My box was delivered to my target yesterday yet I am still unsure if they even use this forum

 

No worry. I've talked to him last night and everything was OK. I will try to post a picture later this week.

 

Took me a while to figure out I was getting a box from guppster. Box arrived today. Can't wait to open it up tonight!

 

Final hint? My package passed my target and landed in Montreal this morning. It's back in transit (and only a couple hours from my target), so I'm hoping it'll be out for delivery tomorrow. I requested a signature, so if there isn't anyone at home, you may want to check with your local post office on the way home from work on Friday (if you think this could be for you)!

 

Wow, my box said it wasn't going to be there till Monday, but checked it today and said it was delivered. Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed filling it up. Let's hope I did alright as a rookie on here.

My box says it'll be delivered next Wednesday, but it usually lands a few days sooner. So hopefully early next week!

 

Knock at the door today and I knew it was a special box for me. Well a very special box as it turns out....
My gratitude and thanks @byronic ! Was giddy as a school girl to unwrap the Christmas in May.
Well packed! Just keep unwrapping treat after treat. Had the hair on the back of my neck stand up a couple of times.

And a bottle with no label on it. Thinking its home brew. Nice gesture. Probably won't age well so I'm going to throw it in the freezer. Quick 30 minute chill in the freezer and have it with lunch.

I shipped my box on a Friday and was scheduled to deliver the next Thursday, but arrived on Monday. Canada Post is on the ball this CANBIF!

If that were a homebrew I'd probably be very rich. It is indeed a westvleteren 12. Glad you liked the box! A special thanks to my partner in crime who helped put this box together @polloenfuego. Also a big thanks to @Coronaeus for providing some stealthy info about the target!

 

Don't forget that Yeti...has a nice bit of time on it now...should be a nice sipper.

 

Please pull that westy12 out of the freezer and let it settle!! It's aged about a year and a half, the sediment needs to recover from shipping

Movement!! After a couple days my box has made it a whopping 40 miles away to Mississauga! By the time it makes is way west my Target may have already had a few of these but hopefully not too many! Darn Ontario-based traders!!

 

Thanks for reminding me I put that beer in the fridge. But I wish you let me reminded sooner as the bottle froze and burst. Sounds like I should sift out the broken glass, rebottle and let it age for a bit. LOL.


All joking aside, the Westy is hitting the trophy case.
Thanks again to all involved @polloenfuego. I had no idea you were allowed to team up! And that other BAer @Coronaeus I thought he was a suspicious and conniving fellow. And here I thought he was interested in me. Lol.
I see how the game is played now. You guys have some serious game.
