    Im in, 2nd CANBIF overall. 1st in 2 years. Ive always looked at the posted photos and never seen anyone send less than 144oz, so I dont think that anyone would have a problem with that.

    Its been a great year in Quebec, some people matched up with QCers will be very happy

    28 and I have not even started going after the MB, SK and AB folks yet. I am also missing few QC participants.

    Based on the answers I have seen I have decided we shall go with 12 bottles minimum (144 ounces).

    I have to pass on this one. I'll be in and out of northen Sk and Nunavit for the duration.

    I will say this: Any lurkers/folks on the fence about this should look at themselves and say "Yeah, this is a cool thing that cool and nice people do. I want to share cool beers". It's fun.

    Maybe for the fall, we try a 6 bottle "high end" CANBIF? Targetting only those bottles that run say $20 or more? Just an idea, price doesn't always translate to better beer, but it'd be a neat concept. Already see lots of those bottles in regular, but making it exclusive could be a way to mix it up. Or even a CELLAR version...

    Still, for this one, happy as it is designed!

    We all start out somewhere. I have participated in CANBIF for years now. I always have enjoyed it. Everyone that participates is friendly, vocal, and engaging. If you or anyone else needs to reach out for advice by all means do so, and you will get help. We're all hear to have fun and try new beers we wouldn't normally see. To all of those who are on the fence; please join the fun, you won't regret it.

    No Raspberry Duff? Lady Duff? Tartar Control Duff?

    Thanks for the warm welcome. I've been interested in doing this for a while now, but wasn't willing to commit the time/effort/$$$ until I was certain that I'd be able to put together a beer package that was at least somewhat comparable to the porch-nuking payloads that everyone seems to ship out (of which there are plenty of pictures in the CANBIF aftermath threads).

    Also, now that winter is over, if you're still interested in trading for some Refined Fool stuff, I'm still willing.

    Hey, I just signed up for CANBIF and was wondering if anyone in the KW or general area has found a local spot for wine shippers? OR who has also signed up and is in need of a couple. Free shipping at U haul with purchases over $50, but I would have to buy 5 shippers to equal that and I only wanted to get a couple. Any feedback would be appreciated.
