Dang - I consulted Untappd and not BA for your ticks (I'm new here). It's a shame, because I have a couple of bottles of the Auval Cerise which I could have substituted.

I'm trying to remember what the Quebec beer was - perhaps Corps Mort or something else from A L'Abri de la Tempete?

Right - it's the Caraquet Flyer, an Eisbock from Distillerie Fils du Roy in Northern New Brunswick.

 

My box was supposed to go out today, wife got sick so had to deal with the youngins today. It is packed and ready to go to the only NHL city left in the playoffs. I think I have jammed as much Ontario and Quebec beer into this box as I can. Lot's of my favourites.

 

Just opened up a big ol' box from Alberta. Not entirely clear who the sender is, thank you regardless!

oh yeah? good to hear... that was the odd one of the bunch... looks like it belongs in Québec but it's from Australia? is that right? Or do they brew locally as well?

As to my targets... thus far the lead package is reporting a province ahead of the other, might be an unfair race... but we'll see. Both claim to be delivered by May 17th, but I expect it to be much sooner.

 

Recieved a large box from Edmonton I believe today. No return address so I still dont know who the sender is. Based on the Albertans that have posted regularly I think my sender has been very quite/inactive on this thread. Thanks for the box! There are some good looking beers in this lot. I have to be honest though a few of the IPA cans are nearing 6 months old so they may not be drinking the greatest, but regardless theyll be consumed with an open mind, hopefully theyve held up!

Box sent this afternoon. I got it in just before pick up and sent express. According to tracking, it should arrive tomorrow!

Last hint: Target lives in a city with a junior hockey team that used to be in a “different” city, a city named for an English city famous for being the home of The Housemartins.

If that someone is me, you would be right! I couldn't help myself and I dove right in. Your packing job was stellar by the way. I imagine that took a while. Worth it, everything was safe and sound.

I'm gonna post up the master list hopefully tomorrow before work. But for now I'm gonna say that all 16 are brand new to me and they all look so damn fine. Looks like a great cross section of local flavor, and thank you, stouts are my fucking jam!

And for a first time participant to get a Cantillon Lambic, well consider me spoiled.

I am a little curious if you packed the box next to your craft table. There was more dry macaroni noodles than I expected to get in a beer shipper. lol

 

Had to hide the liquid sloshing sound! Didn’t have a shipper to insulate the noise and I ended up eating the skittles I was originally going to pour in there, so you got some free macaroni

I already personally replied to Electros for missing the deadline. I was sure it was May 15th... I am sure he his not too happy with me...

To my target: the box was out yesterday. I presume it will land at your place early next week as the beers will be crossing many provinces going west of Gatineau. I saw that you had one want on BeerAdvocate and that want is in the box. Based on that want, I added a couple of milkshake IPAs. I hope your French is good because I think all labels are in that language!
