Canbif, Spring 2018!

Thank you very much - my May Long Weekend is officially set! Looking forward to enjoying one of them after our final ski day of the season on Friday.

I have 2 big boxes in my foyer, just waiting for a chance to crack them open and post pics.

 

First time participating and all I can say is wow, just wow. Many thanks to the individual in Burnaby BC!

 

Its nearing 2 weeks past the ship by window closing... I know people get busy with work and such (who doesn't?) but this is not cool.

Part of the fun of participating in Canbif is seeing other people's hauls. Even if you don't get a box from Saskatchewan or PEI you can have an idea of what is happening beer-wise in those provinces. Also someone spent some time putting this box together for you, post a pic and a thanks.

 

CANBIF seems to be dying a slow death. I agree. Part of the fun of these blind 'trades' is the interaction on the thread leading up to receiving the boxes. This seems to be falling off with every subsequent iteration.

To be fair though, activity in the thread isn't really a stipulation on the BIF rules in the first post. Perhaps it should be?

 

Thanks for the heads up on what I should drink first - I have an awful habit of not wanting to drink amazing looking beers - the old 'having your cake and eating it too' dilemma I guess!

 

Box 1 opened and quite a nice surprise from Ottawa. All new ticks and a few great surprises. Thanks.

 

Sincerest apologies to my next sender, who packed a wonderful box but I am only just opening it.

I must say superb packing job, so much so I had to take a picture. I shudder at what people must think of my half hazard disaster of packing.
