A small box with the density of lead arrived today. I am in awe at how many beers/extras you were able to fit into a small space... @Electros? I believe is my mystery sender and apparent Tetris wizard.

I can safely say these are all new beers to me. I can't wait to get into them through the coming weeks.

And my recipients box is off. 4515km from door to door, from Vancouver Island to the town where David Cronenberg filmed “the Fly”

 

Box was sent out today heading all the way across the country.
My recipient has not posted anything yet so I had to look back at previous years to see what they like. Hopefully there is some with interesting enough ingredients.

 

There is a fine box of liquid in containers, and it is heading to the east of me (which is basically everywhere) to a town that is apparently named for some sort of agricultural infrastructure. It will arrive dreckly.

 

gah, missed posting hints, likes, dislikes... was down w/ covid. Now to prepare my box for delivery. It'll be covid free =)

 

Hint #1 for my target: Unsurprisingly, you're west of me (I am in Nova Scotia), but not as far west as I was on vacation 4 weeks ago. There is a quasi-geographic "anomaly" in your area that also shows up somewhere in Atlantic Canada....

 

I just sent a box where a couple of important firsts happened. In 1916, the vote for women was legalized and in 1998, the first openly gay mayor of a large North American city was elected.

 

Got a notification that my box waits for me. Cannot wait to open.

 

My box will be shipped out tomorrow. Over 400 ounces, mostly from NB but also a few from NS/PEI. A mix of the latest and greatest but also a few old favorites and local go-to brews. Had to spend some time narrowing down what to send, which is quite a welcome change from 10 years ago!

 

My box is packed and taped up now-- labeling it now, and sending it off tomorrow. Just over 8 litres, amongst at LEAST 4 beers! The beers are mostly from Nova Scotia, but there are a few guest appearances by 2 other provinces, as well. Perhaps I'll give another hint to my target once it's en route...

 

It's time for a report. (I hope to manage to attach photos, it's a challenge each time). I had a great package from Vancouver Island. Tons of decent beers including Barleywines.
