CANBIF - SPRING, 2024!!!

I am a lover of stouts...add in some adjuncts and I am a happy camper...BA is even better. I regularly enjoy IPAs of all the sorts. I do not discriminate between coasts. Sours and fruit beers usually make their way into my rotation. I have started getting back into the lager game of late. Pilsners have a tendency to put a smile on my face.
I am open to pretty much any style with the exception of saisons/farmhouses and anything Belgian...my pallet hasn't refined itself that much yet.

First time participating and excited. I've helped out with CANBIF but this is my first time joining.

Side note, apologies to my sender but I haven't rated anything in here and don't have an untappd.

That being said I will say I like most things that are well made. I love good examples of traditional styles including British and Belgians. Lagers, Ales, stout, porters, fresh IPAs big and bold. Anything that's not available here that great is appreciated. Not a fan of sours. I've had a few that were okay but the heartburn isn't worth it. I am more of a malt guy.

This is my first time trading so I shall do my best to send beers out my target likes and haven't had.

Likes: ESB, WC IPA, Malt backbone IPAs , balanced stouts, fudgey stouts, Hefeweizens, red ales, anything well crafted. I like to review new beers.

Dislikes: sours (although funky beers are good), or beers wine aged untappd: min7b5

 

Hi! I have the same user name on RB, and try to keep my rates up to date there. I'm an old money ticker who likes well-made beer, without worrying too much about style...mostly do veer towards bigger flavours over the golden ale/amber ale type of things, but that's about it. Big hops, big malts, smoke, bring it all on. Even sour if it's not too sour.

 

Big IPA fan (all types). Like lagers and flavorful stouts. Open to trying a few new beers that my sender appreciates from their local selection.
Not a fan of sours or any beers too crazy high in the alcohol %...Best kept under 10%

 

My box is headed to it's target and will arrive before the weekend. I always feel pretty lucky to live in Calgary because we have some top tier breweries, that is why my box is made up of mostly Calgary beer. I did show a little love for other parts of Alberta as well.
It seems by box will be passing through Toronto and Oshawa on it's way to my target...interesting.

 

I am putting the final touches on my first CANBIF box. Many thanks @Electros for the helpful hints.

My package will be going west to a province I haven't seen since my teenage youth which I would love to go back and visit.

The line up consists of a little bit of everything. Some fresh hoppy brews, some malty mixtures and a few aged in a barrel.

I hope my target enjoys the selection!
