Have a buddy flying into NYC this week. He's flexible on place and is in town for about a week. He lives in Abu Dhabi and is able to bring 24 cans back with him. The selection in-country is... bad, so the stakes are high. Thoughts on the best strategy of shops, breweries, etc. and the best makeup of the 24? He's into IPAs.
Pretty much any of the decent stores should have a modest selection: Carmine Street, Top Hops, Good Beer, Bread & Honey. The shop at Threes Brewing usually has a good selection of cans as well. If he's around on Saturday then he'll want to hit up Other Half for their can releases.
add milk and hops... plus he can prob hit a few Brooklyn breweries to get cans, like Interboro, and perhaps even Ohter Half if they do a mid-week release like they did the last 2 weeks...
