I was wondering why a retired beer can't be reviewed? I have a bunch of retired beers in the cellar worthy of reviews. Tried to review Young's Old Nick and no luck.

    Just curious.

Yeah, that listing is somewhat redundant. I'm not sure why the old listings weren't transferred over to the new Wells & Young page; some stodgy ca. 2006 British Beerfly Guide probably insisting there was a significantly different terroir between Bedford and London or something...

In any case, OP can review it under the Wells & Young listing.

In general, you can't review beers from breweries that have closed. The topic has been discussed numerous times already, so just search the forums for various explanations from Todd, Jason, et al.
