I dont have a lot of expierence with cantillion but i recently aquired a bottle off this. I know this bottle is fairly limited maybe about 1000 make it to the states. I was wondering what trade value of this might be? Haven't seen any traded for it lately so I'm totally in the dark on this one. Any info would be greatly appreciated

    Cheers

Pretty decent trade value. You can probably land the larger limited brewery releases like Dark Lord, Darkness, etc. Definitely shelf limited stuff like BCBS variations or FW Sucaba.

Agree with cbeer88 unless you want to trade it me in which case it's only worth locals.....

If it's your first (which it sounds like it is), please drink it. Once you drink some Cantillon you will understand its value. And seriously, you could age it for years in the proper conditions.... Or trade it to me!

    Not necessarily. It's Mamouche, e.g. pretty divisive…

I wouldn't mind landing some more Mamouche. Either for locals or for KBS, locals. Or a sour of equal rarity. Feel free to BM

he could walk away from Cantillon knowing them as that brewery that is all into elderflowers.

Mamouche I think might have a lower yearly production than Fou'Foune at this point. I'm pretty sure the # of batches I think is the same (or at least was in 2011). If I were you I'd drink it, I didn't find the elderflower very overpowering at all. Maybe when it's really fresh, but if your bottle is close to a year old (or older) like mine was, it should be great.
