Cantillon 2014 Releases.

Maybe etre doesn't get anymore beers from cantillon? Did they have st lam, vignetonne, lp gueze for sale in January? I think Jean has discovered their mules and now they don't get any more loons

 

I won't call Jonathan a crook - he is a nice guy with a chaotic-full cellar full of great beers. But I could imagine that Jean doesn't want his limited beers to be sold at other places beside his brewery.

sorry to hijack this thread, but my friend will be at the brewery in a couple weeks and offered to bring a few things back. Does anyone know if the iris glass is still available (see below)? Also if St. Lam, Vigneronne, and Lou Pepe Gueuze are still for sale? Thanks!

 

Last time that i was at cantillon , ( 10 days ago ? ) they didn't have them anymore ,
When i bought my 2 glasses Jean told me there were only 600 made , i have no idea of they have plans to.make more of them or if it was a 1 time release

 

When I was there on March 21st and again on March 25th they had the Iris glasses for sale (I bought one), as well as St Lam, Vignerrone, and LP gueuze. St Lam is definitely getting low now.

 

Then they must have filled up the shelves again , when i was there about 10 days they was not 1 iris glass up for sale
I just made a call to cantillon to be sure , and hi confirmd , they have them again for sale ,
St lamvinus is also no problem , stil more then enough !

as of yesterday, iris glasses for sale. no LP anything, st lam there and also at bier temple

 

does they restock throughout the year? IE if they have no LP anything, is there a chance they will in a few weeks, or would they be out until the next bottling?

 

If they are out, they are out until next release. They only retain beers to drink onsite.

 

On Thursday they had Iris, Belgian Flag Gueuze, LP Gueuze, Rose, Kriek, Vig, St. Lam, Cuvée St. Gilloise,

The LP G, vig, and st lamb are done sold out on friday

 

Also in case people are trying to drink certain bottles there the more rare bottles they have were:
1. LP Kriek
2. LP Gueuze
3. 50 N
4. Zwanze 2012 and 2013 (I think those are the right years)

So just to clarify on this point. Before I made it to Cantillon the bottles for sale as posted here would change a decent amount week to week or day to day. For instance it was mentioned that LP anything completely sold out but when I got there they had some LP Gueuze for sale. I went back a few days later and it was sold out. Same has gone for St. Lamvinus, when I was there it was not available, but subsequent to that it has become available. So my point is that what we see one day at Cantillon does not truly reflect their stock as it seems they have additional inventory that they pull.
