Hello, I was looking to find out if 3F and/or Cantillon will be open on the weekend between the Christmas Holiday and New Years Day? I would like to visit Brussels that week but planning will depend on those breweries open hours over the holidays. Any info is appreciated. Cheers! Steve
The Cantiillon "closures" page doesn't say anything but I was under the impression a LOT of businesses shut down for that week.
Last year the Drie resturant was closed during the Christmas/new year timeframe. The brewery bottle shop I believe was open. Not much to see at Drie thought just Armand and his wife selling (99% of the time) gueuze
Yeah that's my concern in a general way...I did see the closures page and was encouraged but websites are not always reliable. Thanks for the help.
Unless Cantillon's page says otherwise, they are usually open. The first time I went there was actually New Year's Eve a couple of years ago. Drie Fonteinen is a different story, they usually close for the holiday period, though the brewery might still be open.

Hey, I will make a telephone call to the Cantillon brewery tomorow and let you know if it's open the last week of december.
Cantillon will be open on saturday the 27th! Don't know about 3F... And thanks for the kind words Mike
This is great! Thank you all so much for sharing all this info. My wife and I fly into Brussels on Dec 26th in the morning and stay until Monday where we'll take he train up to Amsterdam. Does anyone know if the local bars Moeder or Délices et Caprices will be open that day? Just want to make sure we have things to do around town. Thank you all in advance

I just got this email from Magali We thank you for your mail below. The brewery will be open on December the 26th. We are closed on December 25th, 2014 and January 1st, 2015. Please note we will close earlier on December 24th and 31st.
This is great news. I was also planning on going the 26th, and was nervous about them being closed. Maybe I will see you there!
