I saw a thread that someone in Eugene was "only" able to buy two bottles of Cantillon. Has anyone seen it pop up around Portland recently? I would assume they come from the same distributor as the ones that showed up in Eugene...

    Thanks!

Haven't seen any since that last batch of LP Kriek came through. That's been several months back now as you know. I'm going to slightly hijack the thread and also ask if anybody has seen original Fantome recently. Picked up some Fantome de Noel and have spotted Printemps, but the basic Fantome is the one I'd like to snag some more of.

Picked up some Rose de Gambrinus at Beermongers last Friday after a tip at HotD.

Beermongers had a bunch of different ones, as did Johns Market (LP Kriek, Fou Fou'ne, etc.)- both are sold out. According to their twitter feed Bazi had some but not to go.

I am speaking of Eugene, but Bier Stein got like 8 kinds and was out w/in 2.5 hours, 16 Tons was rumored to get a few, and Market of Choice had some as well. Bier Stein had 2 bottle limit. Have you checked with any of the Market of Choices in PDX yet?

Just got a bottle of Fou Foune from Hop and Vine and a bottle of LP Kriek and LP Geuze from Bridgetown. Score!

On a sour note, Saraveza also got some Fou Foune. I saw the box sitting there, then the owner came out and glared at me and said "not for sale." When I asked why the person said "I said not for sale, are you just going to keep standing there?" Okay...

No it was not Sarah it was Jonathan, I was mistaken and thought he was an owner.

I really like Saraveza and have always had great customer service there which was why this was surprising. It was an unpleasant interaction but hopefully isolated. People get crazy when the old 'Loon Juice comes out!

Don't believe this happened. Must have been a misunderstanding. I have never heard Johnathan be mean to anyone who did not deserve it

Jonathan is one of the most hospitable, friendliest bar managers in town. I am having a hard time imagining him acting like this.

I get the idea every shop owner in town has been getting pestered non-stop for the last week about whether they have any 'Loons, so I'd be inclined to cut a little slack. Perhaps Saraveza is planning some special event around releasing the beer, who knows...

Seems like New Seasons have got some. Picked some up way out in Happy Valley since I was already in Clackamas.

I was there around 2pm and saw none. Maybe I just overlooked it.

That's a bit bizarre to hear that anyone at Saraveza was rude. I don't buy it. That's easily among the friendliest bars in town. They open the door for you, shake your hand,...
