    They get the fruit from them (same for Soleil de Minuit) & in return for the fruit they make the lambiek,… That is the basic gist of it, there are also agreements, money etc. involved. The deals date back from the era when Cantillon struggling financially. In the case of Blåbär they don’t consider it interesting enough of a beer to bother on their own if agreements were to ever change. Honestly I agree, Blåbär is rare but they more fun beers.

    I have a friend in Copanhagen, who unfortunately won't be able to make it, but if anyone is willing to pick up an extra for me, he will be in California later this year and could bring me the bottle and then bring something nice for you in return.     Like you said, the Blåbär is made just for Ölbutikken, and is made just once a year and only released at Ölbutikken.
    There is a lot of drink in bottles left to attract customers to Ölbutikken.

    No other place in the world can import them on a regular basis, and since there is a limit 1/customer it is porbably not worth it to go there to buy the beer and them import it back to sell it. Would cost a lot of money!

    Törst cannot import them for them selves, beacuse the US-importer of Cantillon said that then they hae to chare them with all the others, but I am pretty sure Jeppe has a few of them himself.

    Thanks. Hopefully I'll get lucky and be able to have one to drink in by the time i arrive. At 1 per person, will the line for bottles be long at release ?
