^ and right when you were given the right to an opinion, I stopped caring what YOU had to say about anything. Cheers!

If my original reply came across as condescending, I apologize.

FWIW, some vintages of Bruocsella are significantly better than others, so *maybe* you got an off-bottle. In a good/decent bottle, the tannins in the beer keep it from being watery. Don't write the beer off.

Certainly did not write the beer off. Wish I could get more, however Since its so rare Im spending my time looking for other beers from Cantillon. And everyone is giving me a hard time about it for some reason. Thats for the information Dyan

I think you'll end up pleasantly surprised. Cuvee Renee is very good in my opinion.

Also, you may already know that Lindemans lambic is a major component of 3F gueuze in the last 3 yrs. So if you like that stuff you might not consider Lindemans to be shit.

OP - if you haven't already ordered and want to trade to set something up let me know - we have a little more access in some places north of the border (although I am still jealous of BC and Alberta where it sits on the shelves) but always happy to help someone out. Cheers.

So, when I was born? Yeah, I mean, particularly if you factor in all the opinions I had before I could speak, and then before I had a sense of right and wrong or consequence, basically all the opinions of my teenage years, many of them in my early twenties... I've probably only had, like, 6-8 solid years of opinions, here, now that I think about it. I can understand how you might not have wanted to wait around for those.

I couldn't care less about your opinion on different lambics/geuzes. However, I am amused by and curious about your random capitalization of words in your sentences.

I wasn't sure if there was a subliminal message that contained wisdom that I was missing.

Fairly certain he was referring to my post. If not, I owe you a beer.

I acted precisely like a real person. I was polite and helpful and informative, and also sarcastic and critical of defensive, small-minded remarks. Mayhaps when venturing to The Interwebnets you should dial down the sensitivity.

I just picked up 5 different Cantillons in the SF Bay area. Prices are as follows, and they are all 750's.

    Saint Lamvinus - 34.99
    2009 Lou Pepe Framboise - 29.99
    2009 Lou Pepe Kriek - 27.99
    Vignerone - 22.99
    Cuvee des Champions - 22.99

First time I've bought any of these. How do these prices look?

pretty good St Lam is a markup but in terms of domestic prices atm in a major city, you paid 1.5-2x less than you would have at a bar. None are steals but good pickups.

I got a Classic the other day (on sale!) for $15. Find a better price or pay up for the rarer stuff, it's usually worth it when it comes to the loons.
