Hey all! I'll be in Italy for two weeks in September and I was wondering if there was any way in hell I might stumble upon some Cantillon. This may be an idiotic question but I honestly don't know. If not Cantillon, do any BAs who are well traveled have any other recommendations of beers/breweries/bars I should keep an eye out for? I'll be in Venice, Florence, and Rome. Thanks!
I can't speak for Italy, but in France if you are looking for fresh Fou' Foune, you are looking at the end of the summer for anything fresh. That is just when they are bottling it...
The 'Places' feature of the BA site is my favorite way to plan my trips. There is a lot of good info in the reviews there.
Not idiotic. I bet you will find it in Rome with some searching. Poke around in this forum and the places section for advice on bars there. Birra del Borgo makes a blend with Cantillon so seek out their stuff. Not something you stumble on everywhere but you at least have a focus for research.
