My apologies if this sounds like a noob question... but do the Lou Pepe Cantillons rotate from year to year?

    I have noticed that:
the LP Krieks I have come across are all marked with 2008
the LP Gueuze I have come across are marked with 2009
the LP Framboise I have come across are marked with 2010

Is this the rotation? Kriek to Gueuze to Framboise? Every 3 years is the next batch? Or are these just the most common vintages?

Just looking for a little more clarity on the subject. I can't seem to find much on the interwebs about it. Cheers!

I might have jumped the gun on this a bit. I see numerous reviews of these beers at different vintages. I.e. Gueuze with '07 '08 and '09 stickers.

Even still. I'd love some more information on the topic. Thanks.

No rotation, they can skip a year if they don’t get enough fruits due to weaker harvest. LP Geuze is made only in limited amounts, not sure if its annually. This doesn’t seem to be these. Year on the bottle upfront is when they began making the beer. A 2009 LP Kriek should say 2012 on the back as the actual bottling date.

When Kriek and Framboise are bottled last time? And how about this year, is there coming new releases?

Lou Pepe Framboise 2010 (this years) batch should come out either soon or has recently. Kriek is not being made this year I believe but I am not certain.

Thanks. Have to look if I find LP Framboise bottles. I really like both, LP Framboise and Kriek.

LP Framboise was released a few weeks ago on Etre Gourmet and it sold out right away. there's also a 10-bottle bundle pack on BelgiumInABox that comes with 3 Kriek, 5 Gueuze, and 2 LP Framboise (if i remember correctly)

Edit: the bundle pack is now gone

LPF was bottled and available this year in March. It was available at the brewery but the general release was a bit delayed because they didn't have the small oval label that has (Framboise and 2010).

To the OP: these beers are released annually, at different times. However, as stated by 77black, if there is a weak harvest of the fruits, they don't see distribution. Framboise always seems to come out towards the end of winter/early spring. This year it was bottled on my birthday, March 8th.
