Cantillon pricing

    The $40 for St. Lam was a fair price by U.S. Cantillon standards. I picked one up there at that price and saw it for sale elsewhere for about the same.

    They are usually competitive on pricing, but I suspect some of the Cantillon they sell is coming from one of the direct shipping services or a friend in Belgium rather than from the distributor, and they are marking those bottles up more because their cost is higher. That and the hype. They are really nice people and go out of their way to help loyal customers, but just have to be wary of the markup on some of the rarer stuff.

    Just check the label. If Shelton Brothers aren't mentioned, they're either from Europe or Canada.
